Global Education is the framework that builds global competence in our students.  Global education is about infusing world cultures, global issues, and diverse perspectives into everyday lessons.  That means it includes curriculum design, lesson plans, and even the classroom itself, with the goal of providing practices and opportunities to students who will need to interact with the wider world.

Global Competence is the actual capacity, knowledge, and attitude to understand and act on global issues.  Students need to be able to investigate world problems, respect different viewpoints, communicate clearly, and ultimately, take action.
